Stephen T. Sweriduk Jr., M.D., is the Medical Director of Shields Health Care Group and has been a member of Shields since 1988. Dr. Sweriduk received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University in 1978 and medical degree from Harvard University in 1982. He completed his internship in medicine and residency in diagnostic radiology, followed by a fellowship in neuroradiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, and Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, and is a Senior Member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. Dr. Sweriduk is certified by the American Board of Radiology. He presents many lectures and conferences to the medical community and is the group leader for monthly case study groups in neurology, oncology, and orthopedics. From 1990 to 1998, Dr. Sweriduk served as Manuscript Review for AJNR. In 1979 and 1980, he was involved in neuroanatomy research at the University of Heidelberg in Germany. Dr. Sweriduk has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications.
