TECHNOLOGY

Our Yarmouth location has a 1.5T Siemens Espree and a 3T GE Signa Pioneer. Both are open-bore high-field machines offering the most headroom in MRI (70cm).

A.I. Powered Imaging
Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is a new technique used on many of Shields’ MRI machines. By removing excess noise and artifacts, it creates sharper and clearer images, all while reducing scan times. A.I. significantly enhances exams—so you spend less time in the scanner and get more-precise results.
