Thomas A. Shields
Tom Shields oversees the entire Shields Health organization. He is the second person to serve in the position, preceded by his father, Tom Shields Sr.
In 2009, Tom was appointed President and in this role was responsible for overseeing the company’s financial structuring, marketing and operations. Under his leadership, the company experienced tremendous expansion, growing the number of imaging service locations from 20 to more than 40, including geographical expansion beyond just Massachusetts, into Maine and New Hampshire. Throughout his Presidency, Shields has also increased its joint venture partnerships with 23 entered over the ten year period. Previously, Tom held the position of Executive Vice President of Marketing & Administration for nine years.
Shields Health is involved in numerous charitable endeavors. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science from Stonehill College.
