TECHNOLOGY

Our Framingham location has two scanners, a 1.5T high-field open-bore and the GE Signa Pioneer 3T high-field open-bore (pictured). Both provide a 70cm wide-bore opening for maximum space and comfort.

A.I. Powered Imaging
Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is a new technique used on many of Shields’ MRI machines. By removing excess noise and artifacts, it creates sharper and clearer images, all while reducing scan times. A.I. significantly enhances exams—so you spend less time in the scanner and get more-precise results.
