TECHNOLOGY

Our Brockton location has the GE Signa Hero 3T high-field, open-bore MRI scanner, installed in early 2024.

We also have a 1.5T high-field scanner at the center.

A.I. Powered Imaging
Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is a new technique used on many of Shields’ MRI machines. By removing excess noise and artifacts, it creates sharper and clearer images, all while reducing scan times. A.I. significantly enhances exams—so you spend less time in the scanner and get more-precise results.
