My visit was great. No waiting. Receptionist was very pleasant. Technicians were helpful and explained process to me. MRI was good, noise wasn’t bad as they gave me ear plugs and head phone. The best part was that my appointment was for originally scheduled for Dec.13 but I called on Friday to see if they had a cancellation list. They had one for Nov.22  and I grabbed it. My pain is bad so this is very helpful. Shields Health at LGH is very accommodating and I would hope to go nowhere else. Thank you all for the wonderful service and care that you give.

1.5T GE Signa Voyager is designed to provide a more comfortable imaging experience. Its spacious, open-bore design offers extra room during the exam. This system includes A.I.-powered imaging software to produces highly detailed images while helping reduce scan times.

What is A.I. Powered Imaging?
Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is a new technique used on many of Shields’ MRI machines. By removing excess noise and artifacts, it creates sharper and clearer images, all while reducing scan times. AI significantly enhances exams—so you spend less time in the scanner and get more-precise results.
