Shields MRI of Weymouth is pleased to announce additional services to their site, located at 26 Rockway Ave in Weymouth. Shields MRI has created a seamless approach to the MR Arthrogram procedure a veritable “One Stop” shop for these services.
An MR Arthrogram is the latest refinement in diagnostic testing, used to evaluate joint pain, swelling or abnormal joint movement. An MR arthrogram is two-part exam, the first part is completed with the assistance of an x-ray machine called a C-Arm and the second part is the MRI of the affected area. Typically patients would need to have the x-ray portion of this exam completed in a hospital setting in the Radiology Department and then get in their car and drive to the MRI center.
“With the addition of the C-Arm in Weymouth, we can now offer our patients and the referring community, easy access and convenience to what would typically be a cumbersome procedure” states Jack Shields, President of Shields Health Care.
