Celebrating Tom Shields, Sr.

Please pass my deepest sympathies to all members of the Shields family.Tom was a visionary….a pioneer….but above all a beloved husband and father.He was always good to me.I will never forget him.

I know Tom needed to be with his wife Mary; but he will be sadly missed by all. He did so many kind wonderful things for so many. He was kind and caring, truly genuine good hearted person that truly cared for so many. He always wanted to know that we were being treated well. If he heard of any ones hardship he would do what he could to help. He always had a smile and a kind word when he visited the centers. He made it possible for so many to provide for their families and for others to receive the best healthcare through the Shields Healthcare group. We can only try and imagine how many people he touched in his life in such a positive way. He was the person everyone should try to emulate but most would never have the Patience, strength and determination along with the faith to get there. I am very sorry for my loss, and the loss to everyone in this company, Tom was a true mentor to anyone who knew him. I am also so very sorry To Carmel, Tommy, Jack and the entire Shields family for their personal loss.

I admire Tom Sr. and all the good he had done in his life. He comes from a great generation of people like no others, who are and will be terribly missed. May Tom be with his beloved wife and at peace. This is so heartbreaking, thoughts are with his family, his children that he loved and made him so proud. What a tremendous loss for us all.
