Welcome to the final day of Shields’ Employee Appreciation Week!

We hope you enjoyed the activities and had a fun filled week! Shields Health Care Group is so unique and programs like these are what keeps our culture alive.  Whether this was your first Employee Appreciation Week or your 30th, we hope its a reminder of just how much you are APPRECIATED!

We have two pretty great announcements today to close our Employee Appreciation Week.

First, we’re revealing the location of Shields’ Summer Outing….The Shields family is inviting you and your family to a New England Revolution game this summer at Gillette Stadium. More details will come out as we select the game and we’ll share that information, along with R.S.V.P. forms, in May.

Second, we’re happy to announce that we got a very strong response to our Employee Survey – thank you! Though we didn’t quite reach the 50%, we know that you’ll continue to take the survey so are pulling our raffle winner in good faith.

Congratulations to Jill Hall in Portsmouth! You’ve won an overnight stay and dinner at the all new MGM Grand in Springfield!

Thursday: Sponsored by our Quality & Safety committee, each employee received a leather book with a message about the importance of each of us committing to ensuring quality & employing safe practices at Shields. TEN of these leather notebooks contained a GOLDEN TICKET. Ticket holders will join Tom Shields for a lunch at Del Friscos in Boston. Congratulations to Joe DiPietro in Oncology, you’ve won a $100 Target gift card!

Wednesday: The Shields family gifted every employee a custom Shields-branded beach towel. Congratulations to Tiffany Cruz, Anna Jaques Hospital, you’ve won a $100 Amazon Gift Card!

Tuesday: We’re looking for your feedback through participation in our Employee Satisfaction Survey. You should have received an email with a unique, confidential link that will take you to the survey. This survey provides the opportunity to voice your opinions and know that they are being heard. If we reach 50% participation in the survey by the end of this week, draw a grand prize winner on Friday for an overnight stay at the MGM Grand in Springfield,MA! If you did not receive a link or deleted the email, please contact Human Resources. Congratulations to Colleen McCann in Customer Care, you’ve won a $100 American Express Gift Card!
