Shields Summer Family Fun Week

You are invited to participate in the first-ever Shields Health Care Group: Virtual Family Fun Week!

We wanted to find a safe yet exciting way to celebrate with you and your family. Get ready to bring your spouses, parents, kids, siblings, friends, significant others, and even your pets to join in on these virtual events with amazing prizes!

 

  • Begins Sunday, August 23 and ends Saturday, August 29

  • Everyone can participate! Just submit your family’s entries on the side bar to the right. Please include your name and the challenge you are entering.

  • You can participate in as many challenges as you’d like, but please, only one submission per family, per challenge.

  • We will announce winners via email the week of August 31.

Click below for details on each challenge and the prizes:

  • Challenge: have your family choose their favorite decade and search your house for any clothing and props that’ll make your decades costumes the best! Once you’re all dressed up, snap a picture and submit it to the right.

  • Prize: everything you need for your very own outdoor movie night! (prize includes, outdoor projector, screen and movie treat basket)

  • Challenge: How many times can you bounce a ball on your knee for 30 seconds?

  • Rules: Elect one family member to complete this challenge, one to film it/keep time. You must introduce the competing family member on video, and record him/her completing the challenge while being timed. *You may use any type of ball that you have*. Submit your video to the right.

  • Prize: we will choose the top 10 winners to receive a pizza party for their family! (prize includes a gift card for $50 for dinner)

  • Activity: now more than ever, we appreciate family time and memories. Think of a special trip, place or moment that is meaningful to your family – snap a photo or draw a picture (then snap a photo of it) and submit it to the right. Please include a brief sentence or word that tells us what you are sharing.

  • Giving Back: for every one of your submissions, Shields will donate $10 to the Boys and Girls Club. We’ll also design a banner made up of all the submissions for the entire club to enjoy. Thank you for taking part in this donation!

The Shields Family have a fun, branded gift that each employee will receive. Your manager will distribute these in person according to your schedule. These days, every one’s schedule is a little different so please be flexible with your manager and give them the time they need to distribute them. Some may receive the item this week, others might receive it next week….but whenever you get your gift, we hope you enjoy it!
